His Life
An unapologetic, generous life.

Krishnan Ramakrishnan — Krish to the many, many people who loved him — passed away on May 1, 2026. He was 66 years old, and he made every one of those years count.
Krish had a long and accomplished career spanning many years, retiring most recently as a Vice President of Client Engagement at FICO, where he was as cherished by his colleagues as he was accomplished in his work. Outside the office, he was a devoted traveler and photographer, chasing birds and landscapes across Costa Rica, Patagonia, and Peru. Some of his favorite days involved weekend trips in the Southeast with his wife and their dog Zooey. He was equally at home with a chess board, a telescope pointed at the night sky, a genuinely terrible action movie, or, most importantly, playing endlessly with his beloved grandchildren. He loved a great party, a great story, and a great scotch.
What set Krish apart was something harder to name: a rare and genuine interest in the people around him. He had a gift for making others feel truly seen, and he gave that gift freely, to family, to friends, to colleagues, to strangers. His warmth and generosity had no boundaries and no conditions. The number of lives he touched is something those who loved him are still learning the full measure of.
He is survived by his wife, Mona Krishnan; his daughter, Suhashini Krishnan, and son-in-law Nate Kharrl; his son, Kalyan Ramakrishnan, and daughter-in-law Lily Ramakrishnan; his grandchildren, Miles and Violet; his nephew Ian Kaye and niece-in-law Colette Boylan; his mother Ranjini and his siblings Ramesh, Geeta, Vanaja and Jalaja; and a beloved extended family across the US and India.
He will be deeply, irreplaceably missed.
